SUNDAY RIVER

Sunday River the mountain I have been skiing for my whole life and my undisputed favorie mountain of all time. My favorite trail on my favorite mountain is lollapalooza the winding long trail with lots of humps and turns. Some other good trails would be Excaliber, northern lights and cascades. Some resort options are the Jordan Grand resort hotel and Grand Summit resort hotel. I have stayed at both of these resorts multiply times and I love both of them because they both have heated pools and are slopeside residences. You ski right out of ur hotel onto the slopes and start your day without any traveling or worrying about your things in the lodge because you just get ready in your room and leave the rest there. At the end of a long day skiing you can ski right up to the door step and pop your skis off and check them in down stairs.

LOON

Loon Mountain gets an A+ in my book because of their expansive well-groomed trail system and the gondola. The great trails at loon keep you occupied throughout the day, and the high speed chair lifts get you to the top fast so you can get as many runs in as possible. The gondola is also a plus because its fast and it gets you out of the cold for some time. When you get off the gondola you open up to an assortment of trails from black to green and there is a small lodge were you could take a break and enjoy their exceptional food. If you have not made the trip to loon than it is highly recommended that you do.

CANNON MOUNTAIN

My experience at Cannon Mountain last season was my favorite of all ski trips I made because of the great food and even better conditions. I will start with what I ate which was a plate of Cajun waffle fries with maple syrup on top, dipped in ketchup those were the best plate of fries I have ever eaten, for a main course I ate a grilled Reuben which was very good as well and the portions were satisfying. Now back to the skiing, fortunately there was a snow storm that put 10 inches of fresh powder on the whole mountain the night before I arrived. The riding that day was unbelievable and going off the trail into the woods was so nice with the fresh powder on the ground. Thankfully there were not many people and plenty of trails open, the overall experience was fantastic and I look forward to going again this season.

SNOWMASS

Snowmass mountain in aspen colorado is by far the greatest ski mountain i have ever been to because of the 12,500 foot peak and the expansive 91 trail, trail system. Everything from the rideing conditions to the food at the base of the mountain was fantastic. After going to this mountain i look down on all others because this mountain exceded my expctations by so far. If you enjoy winter and outdoor sports such as skiing and snowboarding than you realy should make the trip to aspen to expirience this marvolouse mountain for your self. The greatest aspect of this mountain is there trail longshot wich is 5.3 miles long and consised of mouguls and scatered trees, it gives you that back county skiing feel because you are on the boundry of the mountain and never see anyone elts on your way down. Another great thing is that it is in close proxsimity to other mountains like aspen mountain, aspen highlands and buttermilk. This conveniance only adds to all the pros this mountain has.

Nashoba Valley a bust?

Nashoba Valley, of Westford Massachusetts, is a ski area that has a 300 ft summit, 19 trails, and 8 lifts. Actually, they have all of 5 trails. To attract more customers, they say that they have a lot more trails that they really have. also, they advertise that they have 8 lifts, but they really only have 4. I can't stress this more: ROPE TOWS ARE NOT LIFTS! I payed $40 for a ticket to ski that bump. I could be at loon, which is 10 times bigger than Nashoba for $60! Ultimately, Nashoba Valley is a bust and you should not go there!!!!!!!!!
